80-G Certificate
Exemption under section 80G gives rebate to a donor on the amount he donates to an organisation that has an 80G certificate.
When a public charitable organisation (such as an NGO) registers with the income tax department by getting 12A certificate,
it gets an 80G certificate, subject to an inspection from the deparment.
